Dockwa does not charge the boater anything to book at your marina. Boaters pay the same rate through Dockwa as they would if they called your office. We require that you do not charge boaters more for booking through Dockwa.
You set up your own cancellation policy. Once a reservation has been confirmed by you, any cancellation will be subject to the terms of your cancellation policy. Your specific cancellation policies and check-in times can be found by boaters on your Dockwa profile page, in your confirmation email, and during checkout on the reservation request form.
As long as the boater cancels inside the cancellation policy window you set up, 100% of the payment will be put back on the boater’s credit card.
Dockwa does not automatically accept a reservation and charge a boater’s credit card until you approve the request. If you do not have space, simply decline the reservation and we’ll notify the boater.
The payment processor we have partnered with requires our marinas to have a U.S. bank account. In the near future, we hope to also support marinas with international banks.
Yes. We would hate to see you go, but if you ever decide that Dockwa isn’t the best marina management software for your business, simply cancel your account and continue to use Dockwa until the paid portion of your plan runs out.
